Nicci French Profile and Books

Nicci French is the name used by the husband and wife team of Nicci Gerrard and Sean French. Together they write psychological thrillers and after 14 stand-alone novels have now embarked on a series.

Both Gerrard and French studied literature at Oxford University and then worked in journalism. The couple married in 1990. Nicci Gerrard has two children from a previous marriage – Edgar and Anna, and they have another two daughters together – Hadley and Molly.

In addition to the novels published under the name Nicci French, both Nicci Gerrard and Sean French have novels/non-fiction books published in their own names.
