Harlan Coben Profile and Books

Harlan Coben was born in 1962 in Newark, New Jersey. He still lives in New Jersey and most of his books are set in New Jersey and New York. He is married to paediatrician Anne Armstrong-Coben and they have four children, Charlotte, Benjamin, Will and Eve.

Before becoming a writer, Coben studied Political Science and worked in his grandfather’s travel company.
