Jeffery Deaver Profile and Books

Jeffery Deaver was born in 1950 near Chicago Illinois. He worked as a journalist, attorney and folksinger before embarking on a career as a novelist. His sister Julie Deaver is also a writer, of young adult novels.

He has now written over 35 novels, a non-fiction work and a number of short story collections as well as writing the lyrics for a country and western album. Three of Deaver’s novels – A Maiden’s Grave, The Bone Collector and The Devvil’s Teardrop have been made into films.
